Just like Morpheus in the Matrix all John is offering you is the choice of discovering the hidden and brutal truth.   That rabbit hole is deep and dark but it can be researched, explored and with hard work changed for the better.  The choice between taking the “red pill” that reveals the unpleasant truths that are keeping you enslaved or taking a “blue pill” and remaining in blissful ignorance is entirely yours.   You are now presented with that option.  

Wisdom or ignorance are the two divergent roads in your life.  Whichever choice you make will impact your future forever.  You can either learn how this slave system works so you can see it clearly and navigate it as did NEO in the movie “The Matrix” or you can keep yourself ignorant and suffer the consequences of your actions.  Remember a lack of action is still an action and ignorance can only be fixed with some effort on your part to learn the truth.
